It is a multi-purpose caulk formulated to last extended periods over traditional siliconized caulks. Description: D2 High Temperature RED RTV is the original gasket maker formulated for high temperature and heavy duty applications. It makes reliable "formed-in-place" gaskets that resist cracking, shrinking and migration cause by thermal cycling. Ideal to replace almost any cut cut gasket. Can also be used to to coat pre-cut gaskets to increase reliability. It remains permanently flexible and stable at intermittent temperatures of between -80 degrees F to +650 degrees F. It is also highly resistant to auto and shop fluids.
